Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is a famous American actress. Kellie Martin has appeared in many films and TV series, including "Christy", the drama about a young woman called Christy Huddleston. Other notable roles include her title character in her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin, born to a department store buyer and kindergarten teacher, started her career as an actress at age seven, when her aunt who worked as a nanny to Michael Landon's kids helped Martin get a part in the 1982 series "Father Murphy". Her professional career began following her graduation from Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of part-time roles in the TV as well as the film industry. In addition to being an actress Martin is also a talented photographer and dancer. Martin is the mother of two and the face of Lupus. After her 19 year old sister's passing Martin has been trying to educate people about the condition.
