She often accompanied her mother, who worked as a schoolteacher and a theater teacher, to performances. She found her very amazing. Jennifer's mother and father divorced at the age of five. Jennifer was a part of her childhood in British Columbia when her mother moved there with the four kids. Jennifer was often the victim of a bullying incident as a result of her experience in Canada's schools.
